Art City Festival Austin 2014
Calling all art lovers and festival lovers, beautiful April weather lovers and Austin lovers! It’s almost time for Art City Festival Austin 2014. On April 12th and 13th the streets of downtown Austin will be transformed with a celebration of Art! This year bring the family and enjoy an outdoor art fair with nationally recognized artists, food trailers, live music and interactive projects for the kid in all of us.
You’ll work your way along Cesar Chavez Street and 2nd Street enjoying art of all kinds. With more than 120 galleries making up this outdoor festival featuring photography, paint, metal, wood, sculpture, paper, fiber and lots more. You can meet the artists as they show off their work for purchase and pleasure.
Music
The line-up for this years performances features singer/songwriters with a wide variety of offerings, including rock, soul and pop. The Art City Austin Day Stage is presented by KUTX Music 98.9, The Austin Music Experience.

“The history of Art City Austin begins on the grounds of the Laguna Gloria Art Museum circa 1950 when the festival was known as Fiesta, the festival has since moved downtown and changed its name, yet it remains an authentic Austin tradition that celebrates our community through the arts.”

Sunday: $10
Children under 12 get in free.
Bike riders tickets are half price at the gate.
Purchase Tickets Online
Day pass tickets purchased online before Friday April 11th receive a $2 discount.
Weekend passes can also be purchased online for $15.
All tickets purchased online can be picked up at Will Call in the Art Alliance Info Booth on City Hall Plaza.
