Austin Golf – Jimmy Clay Golf Course

Published on August 12th, 2013

The City of Austin offers five different courses for public play. The Jimmy Clay Golf Course is just one of the awesome opportunities for Austin Golf in a beautiful setting for a very reasonable rate!

You will find a beautiful and challenging three hole water feature at this course. Redesigned in 2007 to include newly planted greens and rebuilt bunkers and featuring 6,918 yards of traditional tree-lined fairways and open greens; this course enjoys the distinctive setting of Williamson Creek in Southeast Austin.

The Jimmy Clay Golf Course was originally constructed in 1974 by golf course architect Joe Finger.

In 1994, with the addition of the Roy Kizer Golf Course, the two courses together created a 36 hole complex of fine and diverse public golf.
