• Check the references of your moving company. Please check our references.
• Read client reviews.
• Make sure the company is licensed and registered with the appropriate authorities:
  • For in-state moves, contact TxDMV (888) 368-4689 or visit them online at http://www.txdmv.gov/. Our number is 006255465C.
  • For interstate moves, contact USDOT (http://www.dot.gov/ or 202-366-4000). Our USDOT number is 1985563 and our MC number is 763179.
• Ask if the moving company has any complaints filed against them.
• Ask if the moving company hires professional, full-time movers and has a training program.
• Find out if the moving company will give you a price in writing before the move.
