An Austin favorite since 1980, Kerbey Lane Cafe really does have something for everybody. We love to go there for breakfast, every week they offer a different pancake special. But, don’t miss out, they also serve lunch and dinner and all 5 of their Austin locations are open 24 hours.
The first store was opened on in a house on Kerbey Lane with an eye on affordable food cooked with fresh local ingredients. It took time to create relationships with local suppliers. Today seasonal menus remain a large part of their offering, with items such as tomato pie and pumpkin pancakes.
Kerbey Lane Cafe offers a wonderful menu with classics like burgers and buttermilk pancakes and internationally-inspired dishes like Greek chicken, migas and enchiladas. What really sets them apart is their vegetarian and vegan dishes. They offer vegan pancakes, vegan breakfast tacos, and seasonally they offer veggie sloppy joes and vegan queso.
