Published on July 31st, 2013

This year’s Labor Day Festivities in our area include the Kerrville Fall Music Festival Fundraiser 2013 in Kerrville, Texas, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country about 100 miles west of Austin. The three days of fun celebrate music, Texas wines and microbrews.

Evening Concerts – Each evening starting at 6pm the Kennedy Outdoor Theater, Food, Crafts, and Winery Booths Open and the five hour concert begins at 7pm. Come early to get a spot on the wooden benches. You can bring a blanket and/or pillow or bring your own chairs.

Afternoon Concerts – There will also be two afternoon concerts at the fully covered Threadgill Theater. Both Saturday and Sunday concerts are from 1pm to 3pm.

The Ballad Tree– This is where songwriters from the festival audience can share their songs under the Ballad Tree on Chapel Hill all three days during the festival from 3pm to 5pm on the main stage. Chapel Hill is located at the north end of the ranch.

To participate, bring your guitar, fill out the slip and put it in the hat. The guest host will draw names and introduce you and others as time permits.
