Third Annual Sherwood Forest Summer Camp 2014

Published on March 18th, 2014

Here’s something different! The Sherwood Forest Summer Camp 2014 offers a brief but powerful view of the world for your children’s growth and development. They offer skills not readily available in our fast paced and computerized world. Your child might like to learn to shoot a bow and arrow or be in a play.

There is no modern technology to distract so that hands-on activities, such as how to create useful tools and skills that were essential to daily life during the Renaissance, can have their undivided attention. Your child will be taken back in time to a world of knights, ladies and a simpler way of life.

The leaders and teachers are carefully selected and know First Aid and CPR, their is a nurse on site at all times and the pool is carefully monitored by a trained lifeguard.

The 2014 season will include 3 session of 6 nights each beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. And yes, your child can stay for more than one session.
Session I – Jul 6-12
Session II – Jul 13-19
Session III – Jul 20-26

Tuition per child per week: $795
They do offer a discount of $25 for completing your registration by March 31st.
Also, there is a $50 discount for each sibling after the first who attend together and for each week after the first if the camper attends consecutive weeks.

“We are excited to be able to offer campers the opportunity to sleep inside Sherwood Keep, a climate-controlled structure fashioned to look like a castle. (Imagine your camper’s excitement when you tell them they get to sleep in a castle?) It will be a dormitory setting, with girls and boys sleeping separately.”

“We offer a healthy, kid friendly menu with options to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Our catering is performed by Como Ristorante Italiano, which has a solid history serving patrons at Sherwood Forest Faire since its inception (2010) and also Summer Camp kiddos since its inception (2012). The food industry professionals at Como’s can accommidate any dietary restrictions.”
