Clean Sweep Austin – 2013 – Cool Things To Do In Austin
Clean Sweep Austin – 2013 is a project of Keep Austin Beautiful. Each April they organize a city-wide service day that includes 140 sites throughout Austin. The volunteer effort results in over 29 tons of trash removed from our city. The 5000 volunteer team contributes more than 11,600 hours to the clean-up.
The volunteers are well rewarded with a party and environmental fair at Fiesta Gardens. This year featuring free lunch, live music, a climbing wall, recycled art, children’s activities door prizes and more!
