Here’s something wonderful to do with the whole family. Take everybody out to Dell Diamond and watch the Round Rock Express play baseball!
You won’t be disappointed when you visit the beautiful state-of-the-art Dell Diamond. Located on the east side of Round Rock, this stadium is set in a way that provides mostly shade to the spectators areas, with beautiful green grass views and wide open blue sky. You’ll find many concessions stands with a large variety of foods to please everybody in the family. They offer a lot more than baseball too:
“Beyond the right field wall lies the pool and spa party area with a 20′ x 50′ pool and a 10′ x 10′ hot tub. Next to the pool and spa party area is a covered picnic area with a playscape, and both areas are available for rental by groups. Nolan Ryan’s Beef Fireball Grill is just past the right-center field wall, next to the “Express Fun Zone.” The fun zone has a handful of activities to keep kids entertained for hours, including a “Sport Court” basketball court, a 26-foot high simulated rock wall, a simulated pitching area and a bungee trampoline.”
Besides hosting the Express games Dell Diamond also offers concerts, expos, festivals and many other events each year. In 2012 Dell Diamond hosted over 175 unique events including Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam and Spirit Fest.
The United Heritage Center and the Intel Club
The United Heritage Center is a 10,000 square foot facility that includes 5,400 square feet of meeting room space. The Intel Club features a restaurant style setting with beautiful views of the stadium, two bars and High Def on 13 televisions. “From holiday parties and wedding receptions to corporate meetings and trade shows, our unique venues are the perfect choice for your next event.”
Concessions
You won’t go hungry while you are at Dell Diamond! They offer an amazing 14 different concession locations with the classic offerings such as pretzels, funnel cakes, popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, hop dogs and beer, of course. But they also offer options such as grilled brats, loaded backed potatoes, frozen margaritas, chicken tender sandwiches, lemonade and sweet tea, Frito pie and Philly Cheese steaks.
