Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg.

Come this October, the little town of Fredericksburg, Texas celebrates it German heritage with Oktoberfest! So bring the family and come help celebrate with German foods like Bratwurst, Hot Bavarian Pretzels, Porked Sauerkraut, Potato Pancakes, Strudel, Wiener Schnitzel and lots more. Cajun food more to your liking? You won’t be disappointed with offerings like Boudin, Chicken/Sausage gumbo and Crawfish & Pork sausage/pita; to name a few. They will have a large selection of other foods available such as burgers, hotdogs, grilled cheese and BBQ brisket. Sweet offerings will include selections like Fudge, Funnel Cakes, German Chocolate Brownies, Homemade Ice Cream, Peach Cobbler, Popcorn, Shaved Ice and Strudel!

Come thirsty because there will be more than 75 German, Texas, Domestic and Imported beers on tap. There will be a large assortment of non-alcoholic beverages available as well.

And what would a celebration be without music?! Starting Friday October 4th at 6pm through Sunday the 6th at 4:30pm there are over 50 bands scheduled to perform on three stages. Other activities include arts and crafts, a Kinder Park for the children, German Bier Tent, Vineyard area, OkTUBAfest, Chicken dance around the square and a domino tournament.
