Summer Kid Fun – Austin Art Summer Camp at The Art Garage
This summer give your children something really fun, send them to Austin Art Summer Camp! The Art Garage offers week-long Summer Camps with a focus on fun. Your child will expect to create 8 to 12 projects during their week and enjoy a party on Friday!
The Art Garage offers mixed age and mixed art media at their camps. Art projects include ceramics, drawing, crafts, jewelry, color theory, art history, hand building with clay, painting, fused glass, tie-dye and games. The camps are taught by art teachers and art students.
After care from 2pm to 6pm is available daily at the rate of $5 per hour per child. This time will include movies and crafts that follow the theme of the week.
About The Art Garage – “The Art Garageis a walk-in art studio offering over 250 items for paint-your-own-pottery, clay projects and fused glass. We are the perfect place for art parties and events. Our classroom/party-room seats 20+ and there is plenty of room to spread out in the studio, too! Unique group projects are available: tie-dye, fused glass, canvas painting, jewelry making and paint-your-own-pottery. We also offer scheduled Storytime Art, Art Classes, Art Camps and Special Events. Hope to see you at The Art Garage soon!”
At The Art Garage you can drop in and create whenever you like. They have over 250 bisque items to paint. You can create a fused glass piece or try a clay project.
If you have more than 6 in your party they ask that you call ahead.
