Austin Autism Bike Ride – 2013

Published on March 3rd, 2013

Come join the fun at the 6th Annual Austin Autism Bike Ride, Sunday April 21st, 2013.  There are several routes you can take, the family ride is less than 2 miles, and the longer rides are 9 miles, 24 miles, 42 miles, and 62 miles.

Routes are approximate with the start and finish at Berry Springs County Park and Preserve in Georgetown. There are a few rolling hills along the paths, but most of the terrain is relatively flat. Be sure to bring your helmet, you’ll be required to wear it. Also you may want to brush up on the traffic laws, following those is mandatory. Bring what you need to fix your own flat tires, but there will be SAG vehicles patrolling in case you need help or need to be picked up. There are also rest stops available throughout the ride.
