This April’s festival line-up includes something for everybody! Whether you are a bonafide Foodie or you just love to hang out with them, there’s something for you at the Austin Food and Wine Festival.

This years festivities include tastings at the H-E-B Grand Tasting Pavilion, libations at the Taste or Savor Lounges, and live cooking demonstrations, featuring culinary and wine talent. Pick-up cookbooks by your favorite chefs and have them signed in the Autograph Tent.

Food & Wine Magazine, presenter of The Austin Food & Wine Festival, is promising this years event will be ‘a gourmet celebration unlike any other!’

Festival Talent – Just a few of the talented Chefs at this years festival include; Andrew Zimmern, Richard Blais, Rick Bayless, Aaron Franklin, Georgia Pellegrini, Graham Elliot, and Ming Tsai.  On-hand wine talent to include Vilma Mazaite, Mark Oldman, Devin Broglie and Jill Gubesch, to name a few.  And Escort, DJ Mel and JC Brooks will be there to complete the group with musical offerings extraordinaire!

The Beneficiary – As the beneficiary of the Austin FOOD & WINE Festival, “the Austin Food & Wine Alliance will give back to the Central Texas culinary community through a vibrant grant program to fund projects focused on culinary innovation.”

“The Austin FOOD & WINE Festival marks a collaboration between C3 Presents and some of Texas’ most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs, including Tim Love, Iron Chef Champion and Owner/Chef of Queenie’s Steakhouse, The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, and The Love Shack in Fort Worth; Tyson Cole, the James Beard Foundation Award-winning Owner/Chef of Uchi and Uchiko in Austin; and Jesse Herman, owner of the James Beard Foundation-nominated La Condesa in Austin/Napa. C3 is the Austin-based producer of Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival.”
