Mark your calendars because you don’t want to miss Pflugerville’s most popular pfestival, the Deutschen Pfest 2013! Held every year on the third weekend in May, this pfestival will be pfun, pfun, pfun!

This years Deutchen Pfest marks the 38th year for the annual event. Activities include children’s games, shopping booths, a parade on Saturday, live music and a carnival with rides that lasts all weekend.

Coloring Contest – The deadline for entry has passed and the winners will be announced at Pflugerville’s Dairy Queen on Monday, May 6th at 6:30pm. The overall winner will be “Mayor for the Day” and the Children’s Parade Marshall for Deutschen Pfest on 5/18. Winners will ride on the Deutschen Pfest float, get a free t-shirt & free admission to the Deutschen Pfest.

Parade – On Saturday at 10:30am line up for Children’s Parade (Parade starts at 10:45), downtown Pflugerville/Main Street. Then at 11am the main parade at Railroad Ave. and down Main Street.

Friday, May 17th – 5pm until Midnight, $5
Saturday, May 18th – 10am until Midnight, $7
Sunday, May 19th – 11am until 5pm, $5

Proceeds from the 2012 Deutschen Pfest funded educational and informative signage along city trails and in city parks highlighting plant and animal habitats and park history. For 2013, proceeds will benefit trail improvements in Pflugerville.

Reminder: Please leave your coolers, alcoholic beverages, pets, skateboards, and bikes at home – they cannot be brought into the Pfest.
