In 1883, The University of Texas at Austin was one single building! Today it is one of the largest public universities in the US and enrolls over 50,000 students on the 350 acre main campus.

With the J.J. Pickle Research Campus, the Marine Science Institute, the McDonald Observatory, the Montopolis Research Center and the Brackenridge tract the school is the largest institution in The University of Texas System.

The Graduate School – The University of Texas has an impressive enrollment of 11,000 students. One of the largest graduate schools in the nation, it awards over 3,500 master’s and doctor’s degrees annually.
